ANN: York AS Public "Star Party" Wed 16-Feb-2005

Dear All,

The York Astronomical Society shall be holding a Public Star Party on
Wed 16th Feb 2005, starting around 7pm, finishing around 9pm on the
Knavesmire, York. Admission is free and the society will have telescopes
on hand for use by the public.

Good luck to you.
We publicised 2 nights of public viewing last weekend.
The Friday night was hazy but just clear enough to allow people to see
Saturn, no moons.
On the Saturday night, we drove to the site under perfect skies, got out of
the cars under thick cloud and waited for the punters in a blizzard.
