Default metcheck - dealt a good hand and I'm keeping it.

I checked metcheck.com last week for my area of Kent (for the 8th June) and
it gave, iirc, about 70% chance of cloud. Today it forecasts 29°C, no rain
and 1% chance of cloud! The accuracy has obviously improved somewhat so I'm
    going by this one.

Maybe I'm just sticking my head in the sand but with all that sun around
it's probably the best place for it.

    Regards,
    Ed.

Mines dropped to 5% possibility of cloud. I think the real deal is

Best of luck to all of us, even here in NY where we might catch third &
fourth contacts. Our local forcast is for partly cloudy, but I pay no
attention to any forcast more than 2-3 days out.

Kent now has 88% cloud and 17mm of rain forecast. Hmm maybe the GFS
is known to be a superb trend spotter out to 7 days because it
forecasts every possible combination of weather!

Those metcheck forecasts bear no relation to say the BBC 5-day
forecasts. For me Metcheck reckons 11ºC 14mm rain and 93% cloud on
Tuesday. The BBC reckons sunshine and 23ºC!! I'm not saying which is
better, but they can't both be right!!

uk.sci.weather has an interesting discussion on the possible weather.
The guys on there know their stuff and the threads are worth looking at.
