There is one in South Herts but a quick web search has drawn a blank.

I'm in Harrow - the closest society I've seen listed is the west of London astronomical society (Wolas) that has meetings alternating between north harrow and uxbridge... The north harrow site is handy for the tube (both for me, and from Watford - if you're near the right Watford tube station, anyway) but uxbridge is trickier..
