    to all uk members,and indeed,any
    members who have access to BBC2 and/or
    BBC HD.
    starting this evening,16th january at 8.30pm
    uk time,and also tuesday and wednesday,
    Brian Cox will be presenting this now annual
    programme.
    guests will vary from celebtities to physicists
    to astronomers,and cover a varied scope of
    subjects to do with astronomy.
    a must see mini series,if last years presentation
    is anything to go by.

    the very programe this time last year was what made stop thinking about getting into astronomy and actually try it .so i bought a cheap scope ,and the rest is history. im a stargazing live baby.

    Hi, watched it last night and was very interesting. I was amazed that some of the photoes people sent in were with amatuer telescopes! Looking forward to tonights one also. Missed it last year as I was offshore.

    Well i watched lat nights program right thru` until 10pm-had no choice since the weather in West Lothian was cloudy everywhere in sight. Not even the slightest break although there was a healthy layer of frost on the cars!Managed some viewing the night before with Jupiter and Mars being my main target.Was too weary to stay up for Saturns appearance though.

    It was clear and frosty here last night again. Looks not too bad now and the frost has gone. See what tonight brings. I would have too look at Mars around 6 am from my garden. Might try it this week before going back offshore again.
