    Paul, from Coleraine in the North .
    Just bought a second hand 76mm refractor a few days ago,looking forward to clear skys.
    New to this not sure what I will see with this 76mm 1000mm FL with 20mm EP.
    Looking for a 10mm EP the older type 0.965"

    Great coincidence that I join the forum just now and wander to the Irish section and the last post is from coleraine. I'm in Coleraine as well but haven't gotten any kit yet. Don't suppose you know if there are any astronomy clubs in the area do you?

    Hi and welcome,I am new to the forum aswell and have just started,I bought a second hand refractor.
    I don't know if there is and clubs in our area.
    Gumtree is a good place to look for a second hand telescope.

    I also think members should be automatically joined to regional group, would give an idea of how many users from your area, not just how many users fom your area went and joined that group

    Tony (aka Telboy) from Belfast here. Been on the forums for a couple of days now and loving it, I've got some great advice from the regulars already!
    Celestron Astromaster 130EQ. Orbinar Plossls (6.5mm and 20mm). Meade 4000 Series 9.7 & 15mm Super Plossl. Orbinar 2x Barlow. Telrad. Orion 9x50 RACI. 10x50 binoculars.

    In Athy and and a new proud owner of a new Celestron 130 reflector. Now I just have to work out how to use it...and tweak it.
