    Default Balancing a LDX-75 Mount



    I just bought a used LDX-75 eq mount and does any knows where I can info on how to Balance it for use with an refractor telescope., Orion 102mm. Any infomation would be appreciated. Thks.

    Can you go on meades web site and get some ideas there ? They still sell the two refractors on that mount , a 5in and a 6in in addition to a SC 8in. Does your mount have the counterweight shaft ?

    I just checked on meades web page and they still have the manual available for free download .
