Question Portable Telescope for Trip

Hey guys,
I may be going on a trip however I will not be able to fit the HEQ5 monster or the ED100 anywhere. Also my 10" dob is in Canada, and its not likely to fit into anything but a dump truck.

Anyway, does anyone know of a decent setup (not refractor or dob as i have both at home somewhere please) to look through with max light bucket capacity under $400? The only decent thing I could find was a ~100mm Mak Cas with equatorial mount.

thanks

Well, I would have run with a Short Tube refractor on Alt Az, but you have already discounted that option.

Pretty much only leaves the 90mm Mak. It would be nice for planets, but maybe a bit narrow in FOV for a great deal else. You can get the Skywatcher as an OTA and put it on a camera tripod, or cheap alt az

Or you go for some larger size binocular, and camera tripod, or alt az
