Default Can you use a reflector telescope with a CCD for land use?

Everything I read says that Refractor based telescopes are best for land use because they can produce and upright image. All sources said that a reflector telescope is not suitable for land use because it produces an upside down image that can't be corrected.
If I am interested in mainly using my telescope with a CCD connected to my computer, and capturing images and video on my laptop, can I use a much cheaper reflector based telescope and correct the orientation of the image through software? Is there anything I should know? Can I use this combination to capture videos and images of terrestrial objects that are really far? Can someone recommend a CCD/Software package that is suitable for land use with a reflector and has an ability to fix the orientation of an image.

Thanks.

Almost any image manipulation software will let you rotate and reverse an image, even the simplest and cheapest. There are some excellent free image manipulation programs, mostly for Linux but also for Mac and PC. If you can get your CCD data into FITS, TIFF, or JPEG format, you can do quite a lot with it using "xv". There are also very sophisticated but free professional programs like "iraf" for manipulating CCD data.
