Default Goto Telescope for Family with Kids?

Hi everyone, old newbie here.
Ok i have a budget of around $600 or approx $900
I have 2 telescopes in mind (having not owned one since i was about 17, i want a good one)
I want to take my kids with me so one with Goto sounds good.
The telescopes i am thinking of are:
NexStar 102 SLT
ETX 90PE
Any help would be great folks

I do have the ETX90 earlier version w/goto, is a super fun portable scope, 90mm is abit small for serious Deep Sky, but does rather well also on planets, the Goto is amazing when you figure it out, and tracks as well, not for photography as moves in fork mount, but fine for visuals...

The focal length is abit long for nice planetary, have viewed Jupiter lunar transits and Mars Polar Cap, was small had to catch it prior to maximum, the Details on Mars not as obvious on the ETX took the larger size as XT8 Dob to pull them in...

Brings to my next comment, have better optics for the money with an XT8 Dob or at least an XT6, but do not have the locator Goto..Skywatch are more easily avialable in your area of the country and strongly suggeted...

The Orion intelliScope line would be ok, even the 6 inch for auto locating, have to move it, gives computer read-out,
