I am sure Oberwerk has a good return policy to. But if to choose between the 4 above, I would go with Orion.

Orion has the longest eye relief?, barska has a soft carry case, zhumell take 1.25" filters which is handy, I'm not sure if the others can do??
My opinion i would pick zhumell or Orion, would be nice to get some more information on the other scope, I think celestron provided a pdf to view

I also vote for Orion, if not Oberwerks.

    Hello Refractordude,

the Orion and Zhumell have most probably the same optics (FB Kunming is the original manufacturer's product name), the true FOV is not 2.5°, but closer to 2.3°. All they differ is the armor, my guess. Make sure, that you get a pair with the filter threads on the eye lenses in the eyepieces.

Cosmos are most probably rebranded Celestrons. They have oversized prisms for the true FOV 3°. Their drawback is more CA on the bright stars.

The Oberwerk Deluxe have the redesigned prism house and eyepieces for higher color contrast (HK Kunmimg is the original manufacturer's product name).
    https://oberwerk.com/product/oberwerk-25x100mm-deluxe/
They may eventually have shorter eye relief than the FB Kunming.

I am using since a very long time the 25x100 FB - the original not rebranded version, if I would buy now,
I would buy the HK, as I have tested them at the vendor's.

It does not matter where you buy your pair, what matters is the warranty and the return policy.
The vendors don't add value to the binoculars besides the brand name sticker,
and the sticker gets sticked on the binoculars already in China.

    Best,

    JG

I would not buy any of them, but for about the same amount of money I would buy a pair of 20x80 ED binoculars instead.
    Just my 2 cents.
    Cheers,
    Stewe

    Stewe:

That is a great point/advise. Do you think the 20x80 ED glass can go deeper than the 25x100 achro glass? I may just tryout the 25x100. Perhaps return them for the Orion ED 20x80.

I like to know what other forum members think about Stewe's advise.

No they wan't go deeper on DSOs, but would provide more pleasing views since there will be no or less CA on Moon, stars and planets.

I guess if you not sure about what format you like, i.e. 25x100 vs 20x80, Amazon makes it easy to try both and return one you don't like.

If your mind set on 25x100, getting Oberwerks is better choice.
