What is your best explanation to this quote?

i have never heard that particular quote but it is so true. if love didn't look through a telescope we could fall out of love with anyone and everyone. even children are hard to love at times. not to even mention spouses who can get on your last nerve from being together for what can seem like a thousand years at times. envy and jealousy as well are examined with a fine tooth comb. it is such a human fraility to be envious of someone. most people don't realize that things are not always what they seem and we probably have no need to be jealous or envious of certain people who seem to have it all and have it going on. there is always something in everyone's life that causes them distress and pain. we just don't always see it. you know the old saying, be careful what you wish for.

One see's the bigger picture of life when you are happy or content, envy greed.etc. is miniscule in comparison and you would not really want to see this in your self or others, in a big way. This is how is seems to me, be happy.

I think this quote works even better if the word "microscope" is replaced with "endoscope"

Ive not heard this before, hmm. Love looks at the big picture, love is universal and all that hippy crap, envy is small minded and concentrates on the tiny faults? I dunno, I just think I may have insulted a load of biologists but hey, never mind
