    Default Your biggest (physically ep)?

Hello...in another forum there is a thread asking people to post photos of their "grenades" aka, physically large ep. It was a fun thread. So...I thought such a thread might be fun and interesting over here. What are the largest ep in your collection? I've posted mine below. (The plossl is there to offer scale). The Stratus case also has an Agena Astro 30mm 80 degree ep (1rpd, Moonfish, Owl UWA...they're all the same) plus a 2" extension tube that allows me to use the Stratus as 2" ep in the XT10.

My largest EP is my 30mm 82 deg Explorer Scientific EP. It weighs in at 3.2 lbs. It is the largest of the eyepieces shown on this web page. When I use it with my 4x Tele Vue Powermate it ends up being quite a bit of weight, but I get a comfortable 21mm eye relief at 200X magnification.

My zoom looks lean and small compared to the Axiom 23mm LX:

In transit is a Meade SWA 40mm that's even bigger!

That might wreak a little havoc with the ETX (40 pounder) .

I tried using the 21mm Stratus in the ETX...great views but too heavy for the scope, so I picked up a set of Meade QX (15 & 20mm) to use in their place.

Hmmm...40 pound ep...perhaps lenses made of lead crystal?

I have a 2" Ostara 70*fov SWA 32mm FMC ep which weighs in at about 400grams.
I thought that was heavy, until I saw those figures above! WOW!

Might be time for an upgrade in weight division. hehehe
