I've had good luck with them, so I'd say go for it! Just give it a coupla weeks for delivery to the UK.

As it happens, I have 2 cousins living in America who would happily send things on to me. The problem I have had is in paying. I tried using Paypal- the obvious choice- but Paypal wouldn't let me enter an American address. I kept trying and it kept saying the postcode wasn't right. My husband checked it and agreed that the mistake was not mine!! I also tried paying with a credit card but again had problems checking out. I am now in touch with Adorama and I am hoping they can help. Unfortunately, the item I wanted has now increased in price and is out of stock- typical!

I may just give up and buy from the UK....and pay over the odds....life is never simple!!
The thing about not being able to enter a US address in Paypal is typical for non-US residents, it is built into the system that the shipping address is the verified address of origin; what I do is to enter the US address at the note part of the payment. Usually, I get in touch with the US vendor first and indicate to them that I will be making my payment by Paypal and for them to just ship to the US address in the included note and not the one provided by Paypal which is ALWAYS your international address. US vendors are usually amenable and more than happy to oblige to this arrangement. If you have to get an item from Adorama, try Amazon also because Amazon usually carry items coming from Adorama. And Amazon allows shipping to a US address from international credit card holders, you just have to indicate the alternative US shipping address in their website form.

    Best,

    Hernando
