I am new also having received my telescope on nye.

It came with a 25mm and a 9mm (offer to purchase for £5.00).

I find them both useful and have added the Celestron Ultima triple lens Barlow x2 (pricey over here in the UK at £92.00) but I am happy with it.

I think I will add a 32mm as suggested on this site later as well as a prism erector for land viewing - all future purchases.

The 9mm, 25mm and Barlow x2 gives me enough to start with as I don't want to overwhelm myself with so many accessories that I don't get to know them well enough in different conditions - not to mention it can be pricey!

oh yes....a power pack would be handy I think in the future or mains connector.

Good luck with it! So many good suggestions here from the moderators and contributors!

Sxinias for your 32 mm are you using a 2" eyepiece? i have been looking for 32+ eyepieces in 1.25 but the fov is too short...only in 2" i found wide fields... but my concern is i already spent in filters for 1.25 for example light polution filter...now for this one i have spent again for the same filter in 2"....?

Again. Thanks for all the information. Even though a couple of pieces you recommended are 150-215 (really not that bad in the big picture). This information will help me from spending thousands before I would have found the right combination.

    Thanks again
