    Ortho+barlow
Did anyone try using an ortho eyepiece with a 2x barlow lense? Does the image quality suffer in this case?
I am planning to get Planetarium Genuine Ortho 9mm, however its eye relief is too small, so I am also considering using Baader Planetarium Genuine Ortho 18mm with 2x barlow lense (probably TeleVue). Could you please share your thoughts/experience about this?
    Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the forum, Alex. That seems like a good solution. The neat thing about barlows is that you get to keep the long eye relief of a wider lens. The general consensus is that a barlow is a barlow, so spending tons is not necessary. You may get a 5% improvement in clarity with a $150 barlow over a $50 one. (just picked those figures out of the air, and they are subject to correction by experts)
