Default GSO 2" 2x ED Barlow Lens

My new GSO 2" 2x ED Barlow Lens has arrived from Agena. Guess what.....clouds! Don't you just hate when you order new equipment, and when it arrives you can't use it?!

Looks like a good quality unit, and I like the idea that it can be used as a 1.5x or 2x Barlow.

Yeah that usually happens to me as well. Cloudy for days with new stuff just waiting to be tried out...

That Barlow is great, enjoyed many good views with it. Yes it can be used in a 1.5 setting, but I don't use it too much. Nice to have that capability though..

I hope it clears up for you soon there.

Well, I finally got to use that GSO Barlow...and I like it a lot. It's a giant leap up from the one I had for my Bushnell telescope!!!!!! hahahaha....that one sucked! In fact...it was more of a joke. Things were waaaaaaay too dim looking through it.

Hey Pete, does the barlow work well with 1.25 eps? I been thinking about getting one of those. Thanks.

Yes, it does. It actually comes with it's own 2" to 1.25" adapter. (just like the one that came with my scope)

Maybe I'll take some pics and add it to this thread tomorrow.

It works great with both 2" and 1.25" lenses imo.
