    Default Unidentified Barlow

I bought a box of telescope stuff from a pawn shop a while back. In it was a 3x barlow / 2x barlow and a camera adapter.

They all three were in unmarked white boxes. The barlows look pretty much like meade though they have absolutely no markings on them except 3x barlow lens fully multicoated.

I have star tested the 2x barlow and cant tell any difference in the no named, and the meade 2x telenegative. I didn't have another 3x to compare with.

I know these barlows aren't top quality, but they seem to perform really good in a star test.

I have 3 2x barlow lenses. I may see about trading one of those for a 6mm ep if they turn out not to be complete junk.

Is there any hope of maybe identifying these lenses?

Thanks in advance for any input guys.

Sadly probably not . What you do find though is that a lot of manufacturers use the same ppl to do there glass. A lot of unbranded ones more or less use the same technique. It's only when you get to the likes of Naglers and Televues that you really pay top dollar for the glass. Celestron and Meade and a few others, where there ''cheaper'' glasses are concerned are all the same. Thats why most ppl end up getting ''better'' EPs rather than the standard ones supplied with the scope purchase.
