    Maybe consider a Baader Hyperion 8mm - 24mm Zoom ? ( 8mm,12mm,16,20mm and 24mm )

Costly ( ish ) and no filters with it , just the zoom itself BUT you will keep it forever .

Bit heavier than most other EP's but add a 2x Barlow and you have 4mm, 6mm , 8mm, 10mm and 12mm !! Like having Ten EP's for the price of the Zoom and a 2x Barlow.
