Default What are your feelings on these?

I was crusing Ebay for some EP's and came across these.

Meade Plossl Telescope Eyepieces & Moon Flt Set 07979LF on eBay.ca (item 190316155314 end time 20-Aug-09 14:59:08 EDT)

I calculated the total in Canadian to be $95 and it would cost over $138 CDN + tax to buy them here at any store.

Its a Meade 4 piece set of the Series 4000 Plossl which includes:

    6.4mm, 12.4mm, 32mm and a moon filter.

I currently have a 15mm Meade series 4000 Plossl, 26mm QX series 2", and a 2x Barlow with a 15mm and 20mm QX series on the way from Meade.

What are your thoughts on these EP's? Good Deal?

Seems this should round out your collection pretty well.

Hi dutch ...The set would round out your collection , but all you need is a high power EP to round out your collection ..Remember that your Barlow reduces your eyepiece's by half so a 26mm would become a 13mm and your 15mm would be a 7.5mm , your 20mm would be a 10mm ...I have gotten some things off of e-bay from a guy called "scopehed" at "telescope warehouse" ...Great guy to deal with , with fast shipping ..I bought a meade series 4000 9.7 swa for around 30 dollars ..Get something like that and you should be good ..Use that with a Barlow and it is a 4.6 something ...But they have good exit glass unlike the plossls with such a small piece of glass to look at ...
