    Default GSO super Plossl?

Do anyone have experience with the GSO super plossls that are for sale on Agena astro? I'm thinking about the 25mm. I have a Celestron E-lux plossl 40mm that I am quite happy with. I also have the eyepieces that came with my sons starblast. They are 17 and 6 mm. They work well but don't have eyeguards and neighborhood lights are a bother. Anyway do you think the GSO is comparable to the E-lux? Thanks for any input. Derek.

Yeah they are quite good especially if they are priced cheap. I got some GSO super plossls (the super wide view series) and they were amazing for the price. I cant really spend hundreds of dollars on eyepieces when my scope isnt worth too much. For about $20-50 each, they are a great find especially if you get a GSO barlow (or have another barlow already) you will only need 2-3 eyepieces.

Thanks for the reply. I bought an agena astro label SWA 20mm and it worked great in my slow refractor, but in the stablast 4.5 f/5(I think) it really distorts the image in the outer 1/2 of the view. Unfortunatley I, for reasons unkown, unscrewed the barrel and one of the elements fell out and broke.. Oh well, live and learn. Anyway do you think the GSO wide views would work in a fast scope or will they distort as well? The distortion issue is why I was leaning more towards the Plossl, but I do enjoy the wide angle view. Thanks, Derek.
