Default Trying to find a Barlow

Hello all, I found a very intresting Barlow a while ago for about 34 dollars but the problem is I forgot the brand -.-

Its a barlow where you can take the actual lens of the assembly and screw it on to the bottom side of any EP.

I think it was a Japanese or some Asian company, I could be mistaken.

Sorry I dont have many specifics, but I cant remember much. It has been mentioned on this forum before, but I just cant remember the name.

Any ideas on brand of barlows that come with a detachable lens?

Yep! It was the GSO at Agena Astroproducts, thanks so much! Im going to hopefully order this tommorow night.

Ive been thinking of buying an EP too instead of the Barlow. Ive got a 10mm and a 20mm. Can that go well with the barlow above for viewing the moon upclose and Saturn and such?

Hi serge ...A barlow would double your eyepiece to a 5mm when used with the 10mm but you would gain nothing using it with the 20mm just because it would be a 10mm and you have a 10mm already ...But it would work good with either eyepiece ...The barlow gus pictured is identical to the older celestron style ..Its more than likely the same barlow thats a better savings with a different name ...There made in the same factory ...The GSO eyepieces look like the meade series 4000s but they are cheaper also ...

Ok thanks for the info. I guess ill just go with a 5mm EP, I was thinking that the Barlow would increase my 20 to something in between 10 and 20 haha and not 10 xD
