Hello, I'm looking for a nice, inexpensive high power eyepiece to use with an F/5 refractor. I think I've narrowed it down to the Owl Astronomy 3.8mm ED (these appear to be the same as Orion's ED2 series) and the Zhumell 3.7mm Z series Planetary (same as Orion's Edge On series). Both eyepieces sport 55 degree FOV and 20mm of eye relief. Which would work better in a fast scope? Weight is an important issue and the ED2's look to be about an ounce lighter. Which work best for afocal photography (I hope to use these for that as well visual observing with my glasses on).
