Default Possible huge adapter mistake :(

I need a quick awnser to this question. I think I may have made a huge mistake

Ok so, I got a bunch of barlows and EPs from my Astronomy teacher but in .965 size. My Celestron 130 AM uses 1.25inch EPs. So What I did was take a peice of PVC coupler, and Grind down one end just enough for it to fit snuggly into the focuser. After painting it a flat black and all, I started to think, is this even possible? To go from 0.965 on a 1.25? I think I may have just waisted my time.

Is this a functional idea? Can I use .965 EPs on a 1.25inch focuser?

ah ok, thanks for that link but im not planning on keeping the .965s for too long as they are my Astronomy teachers donated ones. He never said when he needed it back but im sure he needs it at some point for the class.
Thats the reason why I made a quick simple adapter, which works fine, but as I am now outside on my laptop with my scope, I am waiting for the clouds to pass Just as I set it in, the clouds came out of NOWHERE haha. Bad luck tonight.
Hoping for a clearing, which looks to be sure in the horizon.

No sorry, thats the site I was planning to buy it from. Hopefully this week xD

Well the clouds finnally cleared and I set in my 4mm EP and turned my scope to Saturn and WOW, just amazing how much of a diffrence it made. It isnt the cleares picture, but wow, it really magnified it alot and its huge now!

Im going to try and clean up these EPs as they are very dirty and old. Hoping to get a better picture for the weekend
