    Default Hi can i use +ve meniscus (F=1m) as telescope objective?? Will it work same like



    Plano/Bi Convex Lens ? I m asking u people bcz i didnt get Plano-Convex in market, I asked Optician to give me +1 Diopt. lens, he gave me that meniscus and said this is +1 Dioptre (F=1000mm). I have 25mm eyepiece tht wil give 40x power

    Hi jalal, .
    It should work! .Go ahead! I have made one with +0.5(f=2000) and 50mm eyepiece.40x as well. What is the size (dia) of your objective? Mine is 60mm only. Greater sizes not readily available with opticians!
