Default Selected Baader EPs are on sale at AgenaAstro

This set I would highly recommend to anyone. I got it last year on sale for $270 and thought it was a good deal. Now it is for $209.

    I am 100% with Bigzmey!

The 6mm and 10mm BCO orthos can be hardly beaten on the small faint deep sky objects at the high and highest magnifications. The new Schott materials, and the Zeiss HT technology make the difference.
The Baader Barlow in the set works fine even on the fast scopes.
Can't speak for the other EPS in the Q-Set, as I don't have them in my arsenal.

    Best,

    JG

The 18mm performs as well as the 6 and 10. The 32mm, being a Plossl is a little different but quite good in my sets. (AFOV in the 32 is 50 not 52 degrees like the others.)

All 4 are good performers. 6mm helped me to split quite a few tough doubles. I used 10mm and 18mm on many occasions to pull extra faint stuff. 32mm is a good Plossl. Last year I did side by side Plossls comparison and I would rank it: old circle NJ TV smoothie > Baader BCP > modern TV 32mm.

Considering that Q Barlow is good to, I can't believe you can get a set for $40 a piece, not counting Q-turret, which I also use a lot.

    Hello Bigzmey,

this is a very interesting assessment, I did not know.

I am still keeping 2 old circle NJ TV smoothies and 1 new TV Plössl, but mostly using at f=25mm and f=32mm
the Leica HC Plan S, and old Zeiss E-Pl asph., and at f=32mm the Leica L.
In reserve is the Zeiss military Plössl f=25mm AFOV 40°, which beats by a decent margin the TV Plössl f=25mm.

The Leica HC Plan S and Leica L are the last professional grade eyepieces for the high resolution bino microscopy,
    still manufactured in Germany.
The other Leica eyepieces come already from Singapore, as seen on the engraved letters in italics fonts,
and as declared as origin of manufacture on the boxes.

Tele Vue has the "JAPAN" engraving on the removable nosepieces.

    Thank you for your comments,

    JG
