Like Dean, I picked up a pre-owned Televue 3-6 zoom in like new condition, and it has basically replaced my short FL ortho's. It maintains a constant 50* AFOV through the zoom range, and for my eyes it's a definite winner in comfort + performance.

I'm assuming something like a 4.5mm Delos would fit the bill - ignoring the 3x cost of cost ....?
You already have a good quality UO 4mm Ortho. nFA may not agree but I doubt you will see much difference between it and KK.

My daughter still has my former UO orthos. Last year she loaned some back so I could compare the UO and KK orthos directly. The KKs win by a little. I'm happy to have upgraded.

Are those UO HDs or just plain UOs that you compared to the KKs? My understanding was the KKs that you could purchase in the last couple of years were the same as the UO HDs.

My UO orthoscopics were a mix of the volcano tops and the HD flat tops. In the shortest focal lengths I had the volcano tops. So the 4mm items I was comparing were UO volcano tops versus KKs. But even so, in the longer focal lengths the KKs are a tad better than the UO HD flat tops which are a tad better than the UO volcano tops.

Same factory does not mean same quality.
