Default Now why the heck did I go and do that for?

I actually had a nice observing session and I ordered new glass, arrived today.

I had handed down one of my two sets of Q-turret BCOs to progeny of progeny thinking I wouldn't miss them for binoviewing because I still had duplicate Vixen NPLs...... Right? WRONG!

So a replacement set arrived today along with a 1.25" Baader H beta filter (8.5 nanometers). My good filters are all 2" so I need them in 1.25" too.

The intended use is for ferreting out faint nebulae. An OIII will be in the works soon for planetaries.

In a binoviewer one can have one eye filtered and one eye unfiltered and blink to compare is the idea.

That's when you reevaluate carefully and sell abruptly!

Yeah, you can never have enough eyepieces, and definitely not enough filters ...

    I may have a filter problem ...

A good filter problem I'd say. One could have much worse filter problems.... For some reason the color orange comes to mind......
