Default Explore Scientific 82° 24mm Waterproof Eyepiece

Stupid question(s): I have the above eyepiece but I have lost the rubber ring that cups around the viewing end of the eyepiece.
    1. What is that piece called, and
    2. Can I buy a replacement?

I assume it is somewhere in the snow in my yard, but don't want to wait until the snow melts! lol

    Thanks,

    D

    Eyecup, typically.

A few astro vendors sell replacements, though it may be challenging to find one of the appropriate diameter. Measure the outer diameter of where the eyecup fits and see if one of these will suffice: ScopeStuff

Were I you, I'd email Explore Scientific or give them a call and ask if they can send a replacement. They are good folks and may be able to help you out.
