    Celestron recommends their 31mm Luminos LX for this scope, so you have no worries. Make sure that the diagonal is well tightened and the eyepiece is well secured with the set screw if you set it angled to the left with a heavy eyepiece. They have been known to "unscrew".

    Good point! Mine has succumbed to gravity once or twice: very scary! Fortunately the eyepiece was well secured...
