Yes, I only joke about Pentax. I've always held them in the highest regards. While I've never used one of heir astronomy EPs, I know that are one of the elite of the optics world and their products are first class. All in the spirit of competition.

Why not both? That way you could settle the question?

    Hello Steve,

TS is 200 km south of where we are living. I have not been there for ages, and in between they have moved in a bigger bricks-and-mortar shop.
I'll send my blessings for a save delivery to you,

    JG

PS: Let us know how good or not the TS is processing the overseas orders, it may help to others, especially when there is a shortage of the KKs on the markets.

I've dealt with TS on orders overseas, BTW. I obtained some focal reducers for my MK66. They were completely satisfactory.

What's the estimated delivery time, and do they provide tracking info? Man, I need one more and my fingers are getting itchy.

Looks like one week. Ordered Sunday the 18th - shipped the 19th. Tracking is provided (DHL) & they provide a link to the USPS for tracking when it gets turned over to them - have to use the international shipping number once in the possession of the USPS

They let me know it was being loaded onto a plane and when it arrived in Chicago at 9:53 CDT today. (assuming aircraft, not many boats make it from Deutschland to Chicago in 3 days.) Turned over to USPS and ETA here is Monday. Took a long time to say 1 week didn't I

I'll let you know what the package looks like (in the immortal words of Jimmy Buffett) come Monday...

If it arrives in good shape can you add an extra 7mm in your order for me?
    Moving on.......

Thanks for the info, Steve. Oh, I enjoy details. The 7mm is what I'm debating on also. I have the 7.4 TV smoothie, so I'm having trouble justifying that 'want'. The shipping charges are definitely part of the equation that makes you hesitate a bit.

Lacerta order for the 5mm was submitted Feb 16, payment was successful on Feb 18, shipped Feb 19, left Austria on the 20th and current status is that it is in the US but not yet delivered. I wonder if there is a surprise waiting for me down at the PO? Likely not as it is reported as entering the US just today after midnight. I'll check but Monday looks more likely.
