I find the old lens glass materials with the old multicoatings even looking more crisp and more crystal clear than in the new TV Plössls. I have only the f=13mm and the f=21mm.
The Baader rubber flip-off eyeguards can be fastened on these Plössls with short focus.

    Congratulations,

    Hello, JG. And thank you.
I find the same thing concerning the coatings. I already had the 10.5 and 13mm of this model for a short time now (I now have duplicates), and in brief comparisons to the modern design 11mm and 15mm, I found the newer coatings to give somewhat of a very slight amber or tobacco tint. Almost unnoticeable, but I could definitely tell the difference. Sometimes simpler is better. I think I'm more anxious to give the 55mm a test run more than any of the others. That large eye lens at the very top looks like liquid.

Now that I think about it, I have spent way more on astronomy and hobbies than I ever did on jewelry for the other half(s). Maybe that's what went wrong. Nah, that worked out to where I could have more money to spend on astronomy and other hobbies.

I'd say you're on a roll! The Selsi, now these... What a combo that eyepiece set and scope would make See what clouds do to us? "You shall spend money!!!" Still, those are so nice!
Good for you, hope you get to try them soon!
