Default Proposal for a sticky: History of eyepiece designs

    http://www.brayebrookobservatory.org...fEYEPIECES.pdf

It's frequently requested or linked enough that the link might be a good sticky. Thoughts?

I think this is very good material, think it would make good sticky. Will have to see what others mods say and ensure we are complying with all forum rules etc pertaining to link. Will wait for others to chime in, I for one like the material and think it is very useful.

I'm not a moderator, but if I may I would like to throw an opinion into the ring.

I like the material. Lots of good stuff there, so thanks for referring it nFA! I haven't spent enough time yet to say definitely, but it seems to be an excellent resource. I think it would be great as a "sticky" if someone could take it and introduce it with an "executive summary" for people who are trying to make decisions about the best eyepieces for their scopes. (Next time I have lots of time on my hands... ) My concern is that it would be too much information for a beginner in particular- and beginners seem to be a large percentage of people who are asking "best eyepiece" questions...

    Hello all,

the EVOLUTIONofEYEPIECE.pdf is an excellent compilation of the EPs designs.

Moreover, the last section is a very valuable guide how to choose an eyepiece, better than anything I have seen before.

    Voting for sticky,
