Default Re: Leica HC PLAN S 10x/22 (Br.) M, focusable, f=25mm Eyepiece, item #507807

    Thank you Mark,

I can't wait on the first opportunity to look through the Leica HC at the faintest fuzzies,
    can't sleep, keep dreaming Leica.

Until recent, my best EPs have been the Zeiss Fl Diascope, Leica APO Televid, and the Leitz Periplan GF.
They are all incredibly great performers, and they have shown some deep sky objects, where other EPs have problems.
Now, according to the terrestrial tests, and according to your first light, the winner may be the Leica HC,
as it is the technologically highest achievable contrast of the optics, what matters.

This year, I have purchased 15 eyepieces in total (including a pair of Leica HC for the stereo microscope which is on the way), 2 or 3 out of this 15 will be leaving (Nikon S 20x - a Japan clone of the Swiss Wild Heerbrugg,
and an old 25x Zeiss West - no more up to the expectations).
Next year will take place an assessment, followed by more of my older EPs leaving. They have been all very good
    and not cheap, but ...

Looking forward to more reports from you, and clear skies,

    JG
