Default ZEISS West Germany 25x f= 10.5mm eyepiece

    Hello all,

the ZEISS 25x (f=10.5mm) eyepiece has been designed for the ZEISS Stemi professional grade stereo microscopes, as used for the assembly both in the optics and microelectronics industries.
The eyepiece pair has allowed stereo views with high contrast and high resolution at the magnifications up to about 150x.

Manufactured still in the ZEISS plant in the university city of Göttingen, it has found its way to the ZEISS fan club of the astronomers, as reported the last time on CN in 2015,

The eyepiece has the item code number 46 44 01, for the 46 xx xx ZEISS Stemi microscopes, like the ZEISS Stemi SV8 in my arsenal. The traceable series number follows the item code.

The eyepiece used to be delivered in the protective plastic container,

indicating with Z-Prüf the final quality inspection.

The front field stop (diameter 10.3mm) is followed by densly packecd fully multicoated lenses along the 11 mm distance,

yielding an apparent field of view close to 55°.
The tube has the diameter of 30mm, the total length of the eyepiece is 37.5mm,
    and the weight is 33.9g

    Thanks for reading,

    JG
