    Default WilliamOptics 45 prism

Looking for any thoughts on this prism: https://www.firstlightoptics.com/dia...ing-prism.html

Is there a difference other than comfort/shape between a 45 and 90 degree prism?

Do people think that my upgrading the prism on my new Schmidt is a worthwhile investment?

    Many thanks all,

This is more for terrestrial viewing, it will not perform as well as a 90 degree astronomical diagonal nor will it be as comfortable.

I am with Ozman. Unless you doing terrestrial/day time observing you are better of with good quality dielectric star (90 degree) diagonal. If you scope has 2" focuser it is better to invest in 2" diagonal.
