    lol, yes it is customer reviews. They were all over the place! I had some assumptions about the validity of trusting them, which is why I was compelled to ask here.

    I'll tell you what though, despite these little hiccups, I am having the time of my life. When I got Saturn in my sights for the first time and saw those rings, I almost passed out. My wife got me this telescope for Christmas because she knows I love talking about space and I had no idea how much I'd enjoy it.

    Guess what. I AM TOO!! And you know what else? I've been doing this over 35 years and it just keeps getting better and better.

    One thing that I suggest for you is to get a decent pair of binoculars, EVERY astronomer should have a pair (or three). They will show/teach you a lot, are the ultimate in portability, and will be very useful no matter what scope/scopes you have. And they are FUN!!

    Also keep in mind that little LCM mount you have will hold other small scopes. I use mine with the ST90 & ST80 (GREAT wide field refractors) and a 90Mak (good planetary scope) for an excellent grab and go pair.
