    Default I'm a bonehead

I won't elaborate on how I'm a bone head but I am. I need some help please. I have an ES 25mm 70 degree 2 inch EP and I managed to unscrew the bottom causing the bottom lens assembly to fall out. Yes, there is a small chip in each lens but I think it will still be useable if I can figure out how to put it back together.

Does any one know of a schematic that will show a bone head how to put it back together again?

I'm sorry for your difficulty. At the same time, I have thank you for the opportunity to laugh.

I wish I could help, but my bone headed experience doesn't include this particular trial. Plenty of others to be sure.

BTW, Neal, you may find it easiest to carefully remove each element and spacer, and then stack them in order onto the retaining ring, and then carefully lower the housing back down over the stack. Then you can tighten the retaining ring and screw the barrel back on.

    And don't do that again.

    How may lenses fell out?

The very last lens is concave on one side and flat on the other. Flat side faces out.

    Hello Neal,

and glad you have got it assembled and fixed.

That's where the ES is saving the manufacturing costs - not safety threads, just spacing tubes between the lenses.
I have encountered this case on the Antares W70, where the 1.25" barell (nose piece) is simultaneously the safety thread for the field lens.
However, it is alike as how you hold a bottle when opening it: keep the neck up.

    Best,
