Question Opinions and Experiences on Baader Hyperion Zoom

I am considering buying 2 Baader Hyperion 8-24mm Mk III zooms along with a binoviewer and I would like to get your opinions on this eyepiece and especially a comparison of what I can expect from the zoom compared to my Orion Expanse eyepieces I am currently using. I am trying to decide whether it would be better for me to buy 2 of the Baaders to use in the binoviewer instead of doubling up on my Expanse eyepieces for matched pairs.

I would appreciate any opinions and experiences with the Baader zooms from those that own them, and what I can expect as an improvement in the viewing of the Baaders over my current Expanses.

    Thanks.

Default Re: Opinions and Experiences on Baader Hyperion Zoom

I've got the zoom mk3 and a couple of hyperions. Bang for buck I think they are great. Don't think you'll be disappointed if you get any.
