    Default Bresser 10mm 70* & 20mm 70* on sale through Jan 31

I received an email mentioning that the Bresser 10mm 70* and 20mm 70* eyepieces are on sale through January 31st ($29 & $39). I don't own either so I can't comment on their quality, especially in a faster scope:

In SCTs, Maks, and long refractors they work pretty good. Not quite so well in a fast refractor. Not good at all in a fast Newt.

Has anyone any experience with the Bresser 60° Plossl range? I don't know much about Bresser apart from a lot of their glass is manufactured by Jinghe Optec Co.

5-6 element Plossls? Probably more along the Erfle II design but again great in slower scopes.
If they are closer to the Erfle/ modified Erfle design at high powers they are may have a bit of astigmatism and ghosting.

That sounds about right. Unless they're more akin to a Masuyama design, although that doesn't explain the 60° AFOV.

Masuyama were 5 element only. Plossls are 4 lens in 2 groups so I am surprised that they call these Plossls when the ad copy states they are 5 and 6 element.

Yeah, I think they call it 'artistic licence' lol. Bresser and others often claim they've just added an extra 5th element to a Plossl type design. I really don't know.

I have never run into a case of a lens being missing if it is claimed to be there.
I have seen some very curious configurations of certain eyepieces though.
Bresser usually supplies decent eyepieces and when used in the proper scope I am sure these will work well, and for the price people can give them a try and not worry about emptying the bank account.

    I've ordered a 14mm Bresser 60° 'Plossl'.

I think a lot of their eyepieces are manufactured by Jinghe Optec Co. I got the 14mm Bresser 60° 'Plossl' for a good price. It won't break the bank anyway lol.

As you say, more than likely JOC but they will still be decent eyepieces. Enjoy when it arrives and let us know how it performs.
