    Default Facinating Product From Unistellar

Here's some info and video on a new, intriguing telescope accessory. I thought it was interesting.

"Their digital eyepiece uses image stacking and other image processing techniques to produce incredible images right in the telescope eyepiece."

Sure is! Got to admit, it's pretty cool technology if it really works the way they claim it does. But yes, they do need to shrink it down a bit.

I have to see it in person, looks like they stuffed an R2 (revolution imager) into a square box with an eyepiece ...
Hopefully, is not very intrusive , looks promising...

Seems pretty cool, but by augmenting the live image with data from an image database, you're not "seeing" live, they're adding things to the image.....isn't that kinda like looking at a photograph in a magazine?

Nice idea but to bring a black duct tapped shoebox with an eyepiece stuck in it to CES maybe not the best way to introduce it? You can buy blank metal boxes guys. Rookies!

I agree, but I think it would be wonderful in pulling objects way beyond your scopes normal limiting magnitude. But I think we need to wait and see what the cost and the weight of this thing is going to be
