Default Picked up 2 Eyepieces to add to collection

Well I picked up two eyepieces. I purchased a Zhumell Z Series 5mm and a Russel Optics 20 Super-Wide Konig with JSO Lenses. I have tried out the 5mm Zhumell, its works as I expected. Should get to try out the Konig later tonight.

I have One Russell Optics eyepiece. A nice eyepiece and super light for its size. Please let us know how you like the SW Konig. I'm very curious about that one.

Very nice! Man, you're gonna need a 2nd eyepiece case at this rate.

I've got the same 5mm. It's a great planetary eyepiece. I've counted 7 of Saturn's moons with mine.

Well I just came back in the house from viewing with the Konig. I like it, good wide field of view and was pretty sharp to the edge in my scope - the Z8. It will most likely be one of my goto eyepieces, along with the 3 Sterlings and the Baader Classic Plossl 32mm. I use the Baader for a finder eyepiece then usually go to the 20mm and 17mm Sterling when star hopping. I hardly go below the 12.5mm unless I am viewing the moon. Sirius was very bright in the Kong.. too bright. I would have stayed out longer but not feeling well today and I was getting cold. I need to dig out my cold weather gear.

The really scary thought is that you can have both diseases at the same time!

Nice additions to your collection. One can never have too many eyepieces.

If you want some fun, get the 3mm version of that Zhumell and put it on the moon some night. You can see the cigarette butts the astronauts left behind. (It's not worth a darn for much else, but the kids love it at public outreach events.)
