    Default 24mm Panoptic

    Hey everyone,
I recently got a 24mm Pan and it's (no surprise) a fabulous ep. My question is, has anyone had issues with the threads on the Panoptics not accepting filters? I could only thread a lunar filter about two turns or just far enough to hold it securely. It worked but was a little surprising as both sets of threads appear in perfect condition. I suspect it's an issue with variance in the angle of the threads but wanted to ask here. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks!

Yes, it happens and you are right about the cause of the problem. Some of my filters just would not go all the way into some of my EPs but fine with others. As long as it secure enough it should be OK.

I've got the 26 mm Pan and it is great. The 24mm must be similar in quality. No problems with the filters on mine. Bigzmey and you, I believe, have the issue nailed. Just get it on far enough so it doesn't fall off, that would suck.
