    Default Filter wheel

I'm thinking of getting a 1.25" filter wheel to go with the new Atik Infinity Camera I got a couple of weeks ago. My budget is just about shot and I really can't afford the filter wheel from Atik. Is there another one out there that will work until I can afford the Atik one? I know Orion, AWO, and Celestron make them at under $125. Suggestions, thoughts, input? Thanks, and clear skies.

I have the ZWO manual filter wheel that I use for planetary imaging. Very smooth and reasonably priced.

Didn't you get the color version of the Infinity? I'm probably wrong but I thought the filter wheel was mostly used if you have a mono camera so you can switch between the red, blue and green filters without removing the camera from the focuser.

I want to use it for my LP, OIII, H beta, and IR cut filters. It's either that or some kind of adapter to put on the scope to hold them individually.

Gotcha, I told you I was probably wrong...

I don't use that many filters and both the Skyglow plus IR cut filter and OIII filter that I may use are both 2" so I just thread them in front of the nosepiece.

But I also keep forgetting, you are using an SCT for your camera and at least so far, I'm using my refractor. I haven't tried the cameras in my SCT yet. That will be another learning experience I'm sure.
