    Ok. Guys and Gals.
I know this topic has been discussed before but I would like to hear your opinions again. I have finally saved up my pennies to get a good 2" eyepiece for my 10" goto Dob. It seems that most of you out there really like the ES 82 degree eyepieces so I thought that would be the one I will go with. So...between the 11mm and 18mm, which one do you get the most use out of. I've heard great things about both.

I'm no authority, but I have ES 18mm 82 degree and it's a great Ep. But, I also have the Baader click zoom III. I do find that for general viewing I tend to use the Baader a bit more. Having multiple magnification at the twist of the barrel is very convenient. Could be an option for you?

ES 18mm 82 no doubt. The 11mm would be next.

Tough decision. I've got them all. I hunt with the 30mm, then go to the 18 and then to the 11mm. If it's a planet, I start with the 30 and then go right to the 11.

The ES 100* EPs are fantastic as well if you have the funds for them. The 82* EPs I own are also excellent, really you won't go wrong with any of the ES options. I do own a couple TV EPs, and while they're my best EPs they aren't really that much better than my ES EPs, imo the ES 82* series gives you the best performance per dollar, about 95% of the performance of my two Delos at less than half the price.

get the 18mm first since you have a 10 inch dob and it will be more of an "all rounder" eyepiece. Then get the 11mm afterwards

If God stuck a gnarled finger down from the sky and declared, "John, from this day forward you shall have only one eyepiece!"
    I'd pick the 82 deg ES 18mm.
