eyepiece to me as well. I have the full line of KK Orthos. All but the 4 and 25 are the original ones sold as UO HD Orthos. The 4 and 25 are the more recent offering. The recent offering, IMHO, are actually a little better than the first ones. If KK is actually coming out with the Masuyama formula, judging by my experience with the UO HD Orthos, that 25W will be a must have eyepiece for me.
Hi Bill the Masuyamas are not the Othoscopics but a modified Plossl. Many observers rate the new KK HD (Masuyama Ortho) between the Zeiss Abbe and Zeiss Abbe II for performance. Dr. Masuyama-San definitely has a way of working glass.
