    Default New ES 18mm eyepiece

Well my ES 18mm 82 degree eyepiece arrived yesterday. I'm really excited to try it out. Next clear night I will do so! Finally getting around to upgrading the eyepieces!

Woo Hoo! Awesome Michael! No wonder your sky was not clear last night! Congrats on the new additional to your arsenal. The 18mm should be an amazing performer in both of your scopes.

Good for you Michael, I have yet to find any faults in this eyepiece after owning it for four years and having used it in various scopes and at various locations. But in regards to John's comment, while I understand the sentiment, I would secretly slip the 11mm into my back pocket to have as well! To me the 18 and 11 are the best of the lot. Nothing wrong with the rest, but these two really shine.
