I would prefer to not let that stuff just sit and collect dust, and let someone else get good use out of them. You probably have enough to sell them all and really go nuts and concentrate your efforts on some real quality EP's. Quality over Quantity... But even if you're an oil baron and have a full line of every Tele Vuew EP ever made, 98% of those are still just sitting there collecting dust, so just because you *can* afford them all, doesn't mean you *need* to...
It has to be a balance there. I was too quick to sell a couple of good EPs because they were not used with my 120ST but then I got 8" SCT and had to replace them.

I bought my case after I had begun upgrading from budget EPs to the more expensive stuff and decided right then that the case would be used for what I intend to be my long term EPs. As I acquire new EPs, I just add spots in the pluck foam and in they go. I have three EPs left to reach my desired selection and have enough space left in the case to fit them nicely. As for my budget EPs, they will eventually have their own case which I'll break out in the event any of my kids or a curious friend or family member wants a look through my scope. I'll probably sell off or give away a few of my budget EPs and get a couple more X-Cels for my budget EP case since they have a nice big eye lense and are very easy and comfortable to look through. They will be bought with possible outreach in mind (easy for anyone to look through and only 1/5 the cost of a Delos in case anyone gets a little too curious), but also because at their price they are very good performers. If you're planning to add a good number of additional higher quality EPs I'd suggest reserving the case for just those, and maybe getting a second one if you want another case for your lower cost EPs.

Absolutely. I didn't mean to sound like I was poo poo'ing hoarders. You should see all the bikes in my garage, and I still have my E.T. suitcase full of Legos from when I was a kid!

Once I upgrade to nicer EP's, I'm sure I'll keep my smattering of plossl's around: they're cheap enough that I don't see a point in selling them (more trouble than they're worth). I just won't be carrying them with me all the time. Maybe I'll put them back in my etx80's case. I still break that thing out form time to time.

For high end pieces, though, I don't think I could justify having that kind of cash wrapped up in something that just holds up dust. But maybe I'll start getting more emotionally attached to my EP's once I start spending $150+ on each of them...

Yup. It happens. Cloudy night after cloudy night, I still open my eyepiece case and caress them lovingly with my gaze...

Yep, at least once a day and rearrange them on weekends . Also my scopes are proudly displayed in the family room and I watch them instead of TV.

What? It has been over a month since last clear night...

I forgot this thread was still even alive ! Thanks for all your input everyone. Whether by accident or by design, my approach is to put my best EPs in this case, per Wings statement. That is what I did already. That said, I only have two quality EPs (ES). And I have a bag full of the plucked foam, so as the new EPs come along and I rearrange a bit, I still have the foam pieces I can fit around everything as needed. The end goal is to have a case like Bryan or Wings, where all my best EPs are in one, and then I will start a second case for lesser quality ones.
