    Default Question about cases

It might be coming up on time for a new eyepiece case. I'm quite familiar with Pelican, HardDigg and others quite well, but have a question. Does anyone here have any experience with SKB cases? My local camera store, Bedfords, has SKB cases in stock and they're quite a bit less than Pelicans of the same size.

I used to use SKB a long time ago for my music gear and never had any complaints.

Thanks, so do you feel the foam is as good a quality and longevity is as good as Pelican or HardDigg?

Just a follow-up post here. Was just shopping on Amazon, and it appears the two brands, SKB & Pelican, are fairly close price wise, but locally the Pelican is about 50% higher price than the same SKB case. In fact, I'm surprised how "cheap" the Pelican cases are on Amazon, compared to anywhere else I've shopped for them.

Honestly, it's been a long, long time and the cases I used did not have foam. The quality was good, as I recall. Today, I use mainly pelican and have nothing but praise for my pelican cases. If the price is about the same on Amazon, I'd recommend going with pelican because you'll be very happy.

So have I, but they're about twice my maximum price. But I might make some one of these days whenever I get back in my own place and get my wood tools out of storage. I miss not being able to do my second hobby.

    I've seen John's. It's really nice.

Not really. My wife saw 'em a couple of years ago and asked me if I wanted one for Christmas. They're solidly built and better than any furniture in our home.
