    Default ep for 80mm f5



    i have a meade 80 mm f5....currently i have plossels close to bottom line..26..20..9..6.3 mm...i want to upgrade one of them to a meade 5000 series....60* fov.....the meade because of price.....is that a good idea?.....the question ...what size should i get....available 25..18...9 mm.......

    or possibly the celestron...x-cel lx ....same question concerning size...

    You might also consider these as well:

    Search results for: 'Agena 1.25" Starguider Dual ED Eyepiece'

    You have a big gap between 20mm and 9mm, therefore if you only want one, I would look for something in the range of 14 to 16mm. That will give you some more balance as you move through your eyepieces during observing.
