Default What EP to use with Celestron 80mm Guidescope?

    Hi all,

I purchased the Celestron 80mm Guidescope to be used with NexGuide. When NexGuide is removed, what eyepiece can I use? I tried to put in 40mm & 7mm EP on it so that I can align it with my telescope (CPC800 Edge HD) by focusing on a terrestrial object around 2miles away but the focal plane is just too short and I can't get focus. Even when I extend the back portion of the scope all the way, I can't get the right focus. Could anyone help? Thank you.

Try using a diagonal, that will use up some back focus.

Right now you'll find the image correct up/down, but mirror image left/right.

Add this, Orion 1.25" Correct-Image Star Telescope Diagonal | Orion Telescopes and you'll have a RACI finder.
